We do not have Play Areas here at Lara Cattery.

Being an extremely territorial animal moving your pet around will only cause anxiety.

Your pets accommodation at Lara Cattery becomes its new territory for the duration of its stay with us. Your pet is then able to settle into the routine, this reduces stress and anxiety and ensures a happy healthy environment within the cattery.

We provide all your pets needs. If you wish to bring things from home and we can accommodate, then we are more than happy to change things around.

A CURRENT VACCINATION CERTIFICATE is essential your pet cannot board with us without it. You need to scan this in on our online booking portal or bring it with you. Please discuss with your Vet if you are unsure of your pets vaccination status.

We request your pet is up to date with flea treatments and worming. If your pet is with us when a further flea treatment is required please bring this with you. There is no charge for this.

Medication clearly labelled in the correct container and with clear instructions of how, when and by what route it is to be given.

Please ensure we have veterinary notes or other information if the medication is new to your pet. The more information we have the better we are able to care for your pet.

Please provide contact details whilst you are away, or contact details of  a family member or friend here in Australia.

We are more than happy to respond to calls or emails regarding your pet when you are away.

We stock the majority of the quality dry foods for example Hills, Royal Canin, ProPlan, etc. We also stock a wide variety of wet foods.

We always endeavor to give your pet the foods it is eating at home to ensure a smooth transition to being here with us at Lara Cattery.

You may bring your own foods if you wish and we can accommodate your requests. We do not discount for this.

Veterinary and Prescription diets have to be provided by the owner.

We no longer offer a pick up and take home service

We are more than happy to show people around. Please call to organise a time.

Yes we do provided they are about four and half months, have had at least two vaccinations and there has been at least two weeks after the second vaccination before boarding with us.
